RD Bořislav

A family house in Bořislav. The plan stayed; what changed is how the house is moved through — one material line runs from the entrance into the living space and holds the whole together without repeating itself.

The main space holds one pale surface and one dark element. The bespoke furniture continues the existing structure rather than sitting on it.

The junctions are left visible. Where materials meet, the way they are joined is shown — a principle repeated throughout the house.
